Terms of Service

These terms are between you (the business using Fourth Year) and Ai4U Consulting Pty. Ltd (ABN 71 699 657 586). By starting a trial or a plan you agree to them.

What Fourth Year does

An AI receptionist answers the calls you forward to your Fourth Year number, takes the job details and sends them to you. It is an assistant, not a person and not an emergency service: it tells callers with an emergency to hang up and ring 000. It can mishear or get details wrong, so check jobs before acting on them.

Free trial

The trial lasts 14 days or 20 phone calls, whichever comes first, and starts when your call forwarding test passes. We save your card at the start; nothing is charged during the trial. Trials aren't available on prepaid mobile plans.

Plans and billing

Prices are shown in the app under Plans. Every answered call is billed, including short ones. Prices are in Australian dollars. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged.

Your Fourth Year number

The number is ours and is lent to you while your account is active. It can't be transferred to another provider. If you leave, it goes back to our pool after a quiet period. Your phone company may charge you for forwarding calls to it.

Your responsibilities

Use Fourth Year only for your genuine business calls, give callers accurate business information (services, prices, areas), meet any call-recording rules in your state, and keep your sign-in secure.

Cancelling

Cancel any time in Account › Membership. Calls already answered stay billable. Turn off call forwarding on your phone (dial ##002#) when you cancel.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost jobs or profits caused by missed, misheard or delayed calls or messages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous three months.
